Some fuels have higher priorities and should not be used as fuel in the furnace:.If you have a mixed supply of fuels then put one type in the first furnace, the next type into the next etc. Therefore additional types of fuel only take away the slots in the furnace. You then would have to press start again. One type of fuel is picked and the furnace will stop after it is consumed without continuing with the next type of fuel. Put only one type of fuel into one furnace. In the beginning every fuel is good enough.10 Obsidian and 1 Steel Bar take 10 seconds to make 1 Composite Obsidian. If you want to make it, you have to take at least a lot Steel Bar with you and collect Obsidian on the way or take it with you from previous Volcano-Trips. Composite Obsidian can only be made in the Volcanic Forge, which only exists once on the whole map and has no slot for a thrall. It is up to you if you use only a specific recipe for a specific furnace or if you switch recipes according to your demand.Candidates for this unwanted use are Steelfire (turns Ironstone into Steel Bar instead of just Iron Bar), Brimstone (turns Ironstone or Iron Bar into Hardened Steel Bar instead of just Steel Bar) and Stone Consolidant (turns Stone into Hardened Brick instead of just Brick). Don't put every possible ressource into a furnace because you might not get out the product you want the most.In times with a high demand you can also let the empty or low level thralled furnaces run, if fuel or ressources are low you just use the most efficient thralled furnaces. Then you get your products faster and with a lower amount of burned fuel. As you get your Thralls put them in order of their level into the furnaces, the same order you want to fill your furnaces with ressources. For a long time you might have more furnaces than Smelter-Thralls.This furnace could also be the Multi-Purpose-Furnace, where you also put in other stuff like Silverstone or Goldstone or Star Metal Ore.Crystals could also be a source for Salt/Food, but Salt could also be made from Stone which is easier to collect in masses.Put every Glass and Crystal into it to collect a suply of Glass Flasks (for Water Orb/ Orbs and Purified Water/Food).

There are similarities and differences between NADA and KBB and how they calculate used car values. The Blue Book can also be accessed online through Kelley Blue Book ’s website, KBB.com. The Blue Book is a guidebook that sets prices for new and used cars and provides an estimated range of prices for car buyers based on a specific make, model, style and year of a vehicle. Kelley Blue Book value has been a popular pricing tool since it was first published in 1926. You’ve probably heard of “Blue Book value,” as it’s become nearly synonymous with car trade-in values. NADA also has a consumer-facing website,, which provides pricing information on new and used cars as well as classic cars, motorcycles, recreational vehicles (RVs), boats, and motor homes. Power, another industry-leading data company. Since 1933, the Used Car guide has been a trusted and valuable resource for dealers to set retail prices and calculate trade-in values. NADA publishes the Official Used Car Guide, which provides used car values for dealers across the United States. NADA stands for the National Automobile Dealers Association, which is a trade organization that represents all franchised new-car dealers. Is one more accurate than the other? And what are the differences between these two pricing guides? We have the important answers, but first here's a brief description of each : NADAGuides You’ve probably heard of the most common two: NADA Guides and Kelley Blue Book ®. Luckily there are plenty of pricing tools available to help you figure out how much a vehicle is worth. If you’re buying or selling a used car, you’ll want an accurate valuation of the vehicle to know if it’s fairly priced. I guess it's just their own personal secular interpretation of what the dietary laws are all about. But when they leave home -for righter reasons, they seem to eat shellfish, but very often will not eat the pork. And you'll find that quite a few Jews who aren't of, I guess you'd say the Orthodox group, the conservative reform, will often keep kosher at home. You know, she would go out, we would go out once a year or twice a year, usually once on Christmas, and then she eats shrimp and lobster sauce. But when she would go out for Chinese food on Christmas or other days, she would order shrimp and lobster sauce, which is about the least kosher thing you could think of. SHAPIRO: Well, you know, you write in your book about your mother who strictly followed the Jewish dietary laws when she was at home. And so I'm so I'm surrounded by about 30 people listening in to one-half of the conversation. SIEGEL: They're - in fact, this is one of the Chinese restaurants that's open on Christmas, and it's quite popular and it's quite authentic. SHAPIRO: You know, you - could you just describe the scene there for us, if you would? SIEGEL: Yeah, it's probably about half of my congregation at this… SHAPIRO: I hear some of your fellow diners laughing in the background there. The rabbis don't particularly agree with this interpretation. And then furthermore, there is this concept that if they couldn't identify the food as it's chopped up in an ingredient, as an ingredient in, say, eggrolls, that if you couldn't identify it, then it was considered safe treif. And the idea that Jews could go to Chinatown, wherever they might be in enclaves around the world, and they could eat vegetarian, they could select foods that didn't have pork and shrimp and other shellfish in it. Safe treif are things such as pork and shellfish and not mixing milk with meat. Treif, of course, is food that's not kosher, that observant Jews don't eat. And the last one is the one that I think is probably most likely, which is the concept of safe treif. The other idea was that perhaps the foods are fairly common - garlic and onions and cabbage and so forth. And so - plus the desire to immigrate with the great melting pot. The first being that Jews, when they immigrated to New York, were near the Chinatown, approximate to Chinatown. They're sociologists from New York, and they suggested three possible reasons. Back in 1990s, there were a couple of sociologists, Gaye Tuchman and Harry Levine, who published a paper on this. SIEGEL: It's a great question, and to be honest no one really knows the exact reasons. SHAPIRO: What's with this intense bond between Jews and Chinese food? Why not, you know, Thai or Japanese or Hungarian food? SIEGEL: I have no idea, except they may have substituted the matza for the moo shu as you indicated before. The question is how could the Jews survive for the first thousand years without Chinese food? It says: Chinese history dates back about 5,000 years and Jewish culture dates back about 6,000 years. Well, I want to start with the quip that you write on the first page of your book. Professor DON SIEGEL (Author, "From Lokshen to Lo Mein: The Jewish Love Affair with Chinese Food"): Hello. Our e-mail address is And you can also comment on our blog, that's npr.org/blogofthenation.Īnd Don Siegel is joining us from Bamboo Garden, a Hong Kong-style Chinese food restaurant in Cicero, New York. So, are you one of those people who will never touch pork unless it's in an eggroll? If you don't celebrate Christmas, how are you spending today? Our number is 1-80. He is the author of the book "From Lokshen to Lo Mein: The Jewish Love Affair with Chinese Food." I should mention that lokshen that are Jewish noodles lo mein, of course, Chinese noodles. Professor Don Siegel has spent years exploring this history. But this cross-culture culinary fusion has been around for centuries. Of course, that may have something to do with the fact that they're some of the only restaurants open on Christmas. Go into any Chinese restaurant and you're likely to see it packed with Jewish families. And if there were 614th, it might be this: Eat Chinese food on Christmas. And now: The Jewish religion has 613 commandments. Isolating features into different branches is a crucial practice for any serious developer Generate a list of the files which need to be resolved: git status.Merge conflicts will only occur in the event of a 3-way merge. Before you can continue, the merge conflict has to be resolved with a new commit. Now, try to merge.Ī merge conflict occurs when two branches you're trying to merge both changed the same part of the same file, Git won't be able to figure out which version to use.įor example, if the file example.rb was edited on the same lines in different branches of the same Git repository or if the file was deleted, you will get a merge conflict error when you try to merge these branches. Test this out! Create your own project with an RSpec test branch and at the same time edit the Controller tests in master. This merge uses an extra commit to tie together the two branches. When there is not a linear path to the target branch, Git has no choice but to combine them via a three-way merge. In this case, you want to use a Three-way merge. However, a fast-forward merge is not possible if the branches have diverged. All commits from hotfix branch are now available in master. If a master has not diverged, instead of creating a new commit, it will just point master to the latest commit of the hotfix branch. Once the preparations are completed, you can start the merge with git merge hotfix command.Ī fast-forward merge can occur when there is a linear path between branches that you want to merge. Checkout to the branch that should receive the changes, in our case that is master.Ensure the master branch has the latest updates by executing git pull.Once the fetch is completed git checkout master.Check if your local repository is up to date with the latest changes from your remote server with a git fetch.Let's assume that you want to merge branch hotfix into your master branch.īefore you start, how to make sure that you are ready to merge your changes? This is where the git merge command comes in. By separating each feature, bugfix or working experiment you will avoid a lot of problems and keep your development branches clean.Īt some point, a piece of code will reach a state where you'll want to integrate it with the rest of the project. Our integration was successful and, if our feature work on "contact-form" is finished, we could safely delete that branch.Isolating features into different branches is a crucial practice for any serious developer. Looking at our project's commit history, we'll notice that a new commit was created: a so-called "merge commit" that represents the actual "melting knot" that combines the two branches. With such perfect preparation, the actual merge process itself is easy as pie: $ git merge contact-form The last thing to check before actually starting the merge process is our current HEAD branch: we need to make sure that we've checked out the branch that should receive the changes.īut since we just updated "master" and already performed a "git checkout master", we're good to go! Starting the Merge If properly configured, a plain "git pull" should suffice (after making "master" our active branch): $ git checkout master We must update "master" before we can integrate our own changes. The remark tells us that "master" has received new changes on the remote. Start with a "git fetch", followed by a "git branch -va": $ git fetch Both your local feature / bugfix / branch and the receiving branch should be updated with the latest changes from your remote server. Preparing to Mergeīefore merging your code into one of your project's long-running branches (like a "development" or "master" branch), make sure that your local repository is up to date. Our goal is to integrate the changes from "contact-form" back into "master". Let's assume a very simple example scenario: We will back you up in all your template needs. You need a well-regulated inventory sheet that will help you in managing your inventory records. Though patience is a significant part of tabulating stocks, that might not be enough. Although some companies still use printed inventory sheets and manually update them, it is vital that you save a soft copy so you can easily access and reflect the necessary inventory changes in the future.Organizing your business is not an easy job. Then, make sure to save your work in an easily accessible place on your device. Lastly, recheck the sample document in case you miss some other items that you categorize as inventory and double-check if the digits you entered are correct and up to date. Any changes to the inventory, whether purchases or sales, must be reflected in the inventory sheet in order to keep your simple sheet updated. For example, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, or when you have huge changes in your cost per unit or sales prices. Now that you have set up the column headings, you can now enter the information of your inventory items in their respective columns. Enter All Your Inventory Items and Their Details Note that you can customize the headings depending on your needs and preferences or the type of business entity that you are managing. But the common headings that can be found in a generic inventory sheet are the following: item name, stock or serial number, cost per unit, quantity available, sales prices, minimum order quantity, order time, and supplier. Depending on the nature of the business, the column headings may differ from one another. Name Your HeadingsĪ sample sheet consists of numerous columns. In your preferred device, using the software application of your choice or the program that you feel comfortable with (like MS Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any other user-friendly application or program), open a new spreadsheet to start creating your inventory sheet. To help you get the job done, you can refer to the following simple steps as your guide to your inventory sheet creation. For this reason, as early as now, you need to have an organized and well-formatted inventory sheet. While it is important that you have a deeper understanding of customer demand for your product, you must first have control and knowledge about your inventory count and inventory levels through your inventory sheet. With that, inventory control is vital, and this is when you need an inventory sheet. On the other hand, too much inventory may trigger profit losses because the products may expire, get damaged, or go out of season. Too little inventories would mean that you cannot satisfy the demands of your customers therefore, missing out on the opportunity of additional sales. This is important in order to not just know the inventory balances but also take control of the stocks. So, skip the hassle of starting from scratch and download our printable templates today! What is an Inventory Sheet?Īn inventory sheet is a spreadsheet prepared by the company to record its beginning inventory, purchases, sales, ending inventory, inventory levels, and other related information about the business operations. In March 1962 Hobart left Sydney to be towed to Osaka in Japan for breaking up by Mitsue & Co at the Miyachi shipyard where she arrived on 2 April 1962. On 2 February 1962 she was sold for scrap. In 1959 Hobart was placed into reserve and later during that year it was decided that she was surplus to requirements and placed on the disposal list. During this period, the plans regarding her being brought back into service as a fleet training ship were dropped. For this role she was given a lattice foremast, but had all torpedo tubes and secondary guns removed. During 1953 - 1956 Hobart was extensively refitted and partly converted and modernised as a training ship at Newcastle, New South Wales. On 20 December 1947, HMAS Hobart was decommissioned at Sydney. Post war HMAS Hobart remained in service making three deployments to Japanese waters. She was renamed HMAS Hobart and sailed for Australia towards the end of the year. On 28 September 1938, Apollo was acquired from the Royal Navy by the Royal Australian Navy, she was commissioned by the crew of HMAS Albatross (which had been transferred to the RN in part payment of Apollo) earlier than intended because of the Munich crisis. In an OLAP system like Amazon Redshift, data does not change that often and thus maintaining these tables as Materialized Views should not be a big problem. So whenever a change occurs on one of your tables, you need to update your Materialized Views by dropping and Recreating the tables. The main issue with this approach is that you have to maintain the Materialized Views on yourself. Now it is possible to UPDATE and DELETE your views, and the query planner optimizes your queries. In this way, you are manually creating Materialized Views on your system, and you can overcome the limitations we mentioned earlier. That is possible on Amazon Redshift as you can invoke the CREATE TABLE with a query as a parameter which defines the table using other tables. To do that, you create actual tables using the queries that you would use for your views. The way to do it is by emulating Materialized Views on your cluster. There is a way to overcome the above limitations of Amazon Redshift and its Table Views. The query planner is having issues optimizing queries over views.Ĭlick here to get our FREE 90+ page PDF Amazon Redshift Guide! Overcoming the limitations of Table Views on Amazon Redshift with Materialized Views That might lead to fragmentary views and queries. Table Views reference the internal names of the tables and columns and not what is visible to you. Instead, the query executes every time you request access to the Table View. The Table View is not physically materialized, which means that there’s no actual table created in the database. It looks like a table from a SELECT query, but you cannot affect its data. You cannot DELETE or UPDATE a Table View. Views are coming with some restrictions on Amazon Redshift with the most notable being the following: It is replaced only if the query is different.
Identify business requirements: Understand the business requirements and objectives of the organization to design a solution that meets those needs. The steps involved in developing the solution architecture are: Make components pluggable – A component or an abstraction developed should provide means to improve the productivity, abstract the complexity, reduce dependency, make it portable. The functionality should not be duplicated in any other component Don’t Repeat Yourself (DRY) – There should be only one component providing a specific functionality.Principle of least knowledge – A component or an object should not know about internal details of other components or objects.Single Responsibility Principle – Each component or a module should be responsible for only a specific feature or functionality.Separation of concerns – Break the application into distinct features that overlap in functionality as little as possible. This shall include global standards and specific security frameworks, compliance and regulatory standards demanded by the application and sovereign country. Secure & Compliant – Design should ensure that security and regulatory compliance requirements are built into solution designs.Data is Valued – Data Management and Data quality should be given at most importance while designing the solution as they are critical for operations and for providing insights across the enterprise.Build to Integrate – Systems should be designed to offer unique edge and adapt to the business and operational model by enabling integrations through multiple channels and protocols as required by the system.Ready to Grow – Solution should be designed with scalability and extendibility for ensuring future demands of the business are met easily by being able to plug in additional functionality with less effort into the system.Modular Design – Architecture should always follow a modular component-based designs rather than monolithic blocks of system for easier management and change. The characteristics of Solution Architecture are: It involves the identification of the business, application, data and technology components required for the solution, as well as the interactions and dependencies between all those components. Solution architecture is a process of architecting, designing, and managing the technical and operational architecture of a solution to meet specific business needs of a business unit of an organization. It looks at the current state (as-is architecture) to help build and navigate the future state (to-be architecture) of the organization, also establishing a roadmap to reach the future state.

You may have intertrigo in more than one skin area. Intertrigo with a secondary infection is often asymmetrical (not even or present on both sides). If you have a secondary infection from bacteria, fungus, or a virus, the intertrigo becomes more inflamed and can develop a bad smell. The skin may crack, bleed, ooze, and crust over. The reddish area can quickly become inflamed and raw. Infections are more likely to be unilateral and asymmetrical, while inflammatory disorders tend to be symmetrical, appearing, for example, under both arms or both breasts. The intertrigo often appears on both sides of the skin fold, almost like a mirror image. Intertrigo starts as redness or small bumps or spots in skin folds. In some cases, intertrigo occurs as a side effect of chemotherapy treatment. Papillomaviridae (human papilloma virus or HPV).The most common virus families associated with intertrigo are: Bacteriaīacteria associated with intertrigo include: Papules and pustules (pimple-like bumps) may be present as well. It may have plaques, which are raised, scaly lesions. A Candida rash is very bright red and raw looking. Most people normally have some Candida albicans present on their skin, so the yeast can easily take advantage of skin breaks to proliferate. About 80% to 90% of all skin yeast infections are caused by Candida albicans (also called thrush). Secondary intertrigo infections could include: FungiĬandida (a yeast) is the fungus group that’s most commonly associated with intertrigo. These bacteria or fungi worsen the rash and its symptoms. This makes them perfect breeding areas for microorganisms. These areas are often moist, warm, and lack air exposure. Friction from skin rubbing on skin, moisture, and higher temperature in flexural areas are the main factors in the development of intertrigo. |
